The Residence
As the sun drops, the cliffside warms to copper and the whole valley catches the last light. This is the hour that gives the land its name.
A sculptural hearth anchoring the main living wing with an open fire at the very center of the room, drawing the space around it as the desert light fades.
And the desert stars fill the opening by night. A shower open to the sky, where handcrafted glass shimmers by day
I think it’s a success that the home blends itself into the landscape. You really have to search for it. Once you find it, it’s a new experience every time.
